The veteran actor Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari, better known as Koo Fori, revealed why he had stopped playing in feature films.

In an interview with Zion Felix, Koo Fori expressed his disappointment with producers and directors as he lamented the abuse of actors and actresses.
He noted that producers often came to beg actors when they wanted to shoot a movie but that after finishing the film, they did not fulfill their part of the agreement.
Koo Fori recalled that some producers promised to pay after the filming but refused to pay as soon as the film was finished.

"As they come to you with a sad look and ask you to shoot their movies with the promise of paying your salary at the end of the day, they will act as if you did not even exist at the time of that they pay you after the release of the movie, " he stressed.
Bryt TV's CEO also pointed out that another factor that caused him to stop playing was that most producers split a film into three or four parts just to get more money.
He said that such a decision was beneficial for the producers but that the actors who played a key role and were only paid for a single film do not receive any extra money.
However, he told Zionfelix that he would still be an actor of the television series "Efiewura" and that as such, people who would like to see him play can watch the weekly episodes on television.
