The Walking Dead season 11 trailers provide a glimpse of what’s to come as the series draws to a close, including the arrival of the Commonwealth.
The walking dead Season 11 trailers show a first look at the Commonwealth. The mega-group at the center of the Walking Dead The comics are set to finally arrive in the television universe as AMC’s long-running zombie drama enters its eleventh and final season.
Of course the Walking Dead The TV show has been teasing fans with hints of the arrival of the Commonwealth for quite some time now. It all started when Eugene made radio contact with a mysterious woman named Stephanie and arranged a meeting. Eventually, Eugene was joined on his mission to meet Stephanie by Ezekiel, Yumiko, and an unpredictable new friend named Princess. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when the group was grabbed by mysterious men in armor and taken into captivity.
Eugene and the gang are in fact still being held captive while The walking dead season 11 is getting ready to start. So far, the characters know little about the nature of their captors other than that they are villainous and wear armor, but they and the audience are about to find out a lot more about this mysterious group which is alright. of course the Commonwealth. A series of brief new clips from Season 11 tease the Commonwealth and its military leader Mercer with his signature red armor, while also teasing developments with other characters. The videos obviously don’t reveal much as they are more in the realm of animated posters than actual trailers. Fortunately, the previously published synopses for the first two Walking Dead The Season 11 episodes, “Acheron: Part 1” and “Acheron: Part 2,” provided a somewhat more complete summary of what will happen as the series enters its final round. Part one actually focuses on Maggie leading a team on a supply run to help save a starving Alexandria who is in trouble in a subway train. Of course, there are tensions with Negan in this episode as well, as Maggie tries to adjust to her mortal foe now being an ally. While Eugene and his friends are mentioned in the synopsis for Part 1, it’s clear that Part 2 focuses more on them and their relationship with the Commonwealth. Fans should be warned that Part 2 also sees Dog disappear and Daryl rush to find him (which could lead to some gripping drama).
The great development at least at the beginning The walking dead season 11 is obviously the arrival of the Commonwealth and particularly of Mercer. This is of course not the first time TWD introduced a great new community from the comics and gave everyone a feeling of impending dread. At TWD, it seems another war is always coming. But will the Commonwealth ultimately be enemies or friends? And what about the other new band on board for Season 11, The Reapers? And what about CRM, which continues to emerge in the biggest Walking Dead universe and probably having had contact with the Commonwealth (it would make little sense that two such important groups never met)? Much is put in place for The walking dead season 11, but who knows which storylines will ultimately matter. The show is of course well known for setting up communities and groups like Big Business – Wolves and Terminus immediately jump to mind – to let them fizzle out. The walking dead returns to AMC on August 22, 2021.
