The arrival is triumphant on American soil. The national women's football team was greeted Monday at the Newark Liberty International Airport with a water cannon salute after winning a fourth outstanding World Cup title this weekend.

In a few days, these sports superstars will be greeted by a thunderous applause at a parade of magnetic tapes marching through the Canyon of Heroes.

"It's fantastic – it makes you proud to be American," said David Nall of Lower Manhattan.

And as the best players in the world prepare, the best in New York will also do it in the effort to protect everyone, the crowds are expected Wednesday for the grand parade.

News 4 presenter Stefan Holt has more about the team's arrival, the parade and the charges against billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
