Paris Saint-Germain has finalized the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Marcin Bulka at the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old settles in the French capital with a two-year contract until June 30, 2021 and is expected to serve as the club's goalkeeper behind Alphonse Areola.

After signing the dotted line, Bulka told the club's official website how pleased he was to join the Ligue 1 champions:

I am really happy and honored to join Paris Saint-Germain today. This club is not only a great reference in France and Europe, but is also renowned for allowing many young players to express their potential in recent years. After my experience in England, I will do my best to continue my progression here with a fantastic team and especially with high level goalkeepers.

The Polish youth international arrived at Chelsea from FCB Escola Varsovia in 2016 and helped the club to win two consecutive titles in the M18 Premier League in 2017 and 2018.

Standing at 6 '3, Bulka is an intimidating presence between the sticks and it was a surprise to many that the Blues could not tie him to a new contract in West London.

However, Chelsea has a strong long-term option in Kepa and it would be good to see Bulka continue his career and do good things in Europe.
