Popular Ghanaian hip-hop artist, Kofi Mole criticized the legislature for choosing to tackle LGBTQ issues instead of addressing the country’s more urgent needs.
It has been the case that some deputies (deputies) champion the adoption of the LGBTQ + bill which seeks to incriminate the homosexual threat in the country.
Ningo Prampram MP Ras Mubarak and Madina MP Francis Xavier Sosu embarked on a series of social media jokes with other prominent figures about the passage of the LGBTQ + bill in the country .
But sharing his thoughts on the subject, Kofi Mole, who appears disappointed with the way LGBTQ issues have come to the fore compared to “bigger issues in the country” said;
“If you compare this LGBT issue with other pressing issues in this country, you will realize that there are bigger issues that need urgent attention. I think there are other issues that if we give it our full attention it will help a lot of people more than this LGBT stuff, ”he told The Kastle Entertainment Show.
It may be recalled that some celebrities, including Sister Derby, Kobi Rana, Wanlov the Kuborlor and many others, spoke out against what they called “mistreatment of LGBTQ members across the country.”
Sister Derby, in particular, has been caught in a long-lasting ‘fight’ with Ningo Prampram MP Sam George on Twitter over the passage of the LGBTQ + bill
