There has been a wave of rumors that have circulated since the disappearance of The Synagogue’s founder, Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua, that the ministry is engulfed in a succession struggle allegedly between his wife, Ms Evelyn Joshua and some evangelists. .
There is even a post in the Thisday newspaper on Sunday June 13, 2021, in which it was stated that the late Prophet said he was not extending his appeal to his wife, Ms. Evelyn Joshua. This sequence of events clearly indicates an attempt by some evildoers to drag the ministry into unnecessary controversy.
Mrs Evelyn Joshua is in a mood of mourning, after her late husband’s funeral on Friday July 9, 2021 and as a responsible wife and mother, the least favor she deserves from well-meaning Nigerians is that they respect the privacy of the family during these difficult times. Rather than stoking the embers of conflict and animosity, she remained focused on preserving her late husband’s legacy.
Even when her husband was alive, she was not known to be an overly ambitious and domineering woman. Instead, she preferred to support her husband and the ministry from behind without showing any selfish instincts even when she had all the powers to do so. What other proof do we need to know that she is a great leader who can handle people and situations?
As the legally married wife of the late Prophet, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua cannot be in conflict with any person or group of people over what is legally and naturally due to her. Every member of The SCOAN, including the followers and partners of Emmanuel TV, should regard themselves as the sons and daughters of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua who is an extension of her late husband, according to the biblical injunction (Genesis 2:24 ).
The general public are hereby advised to disregard all media reports suggesting that church elders have dismissed Ms. Evelyn Joshua as the new head of the church. There was never a time when the elders of the church gathered to deliberate on a question of succession. Be informed that in due course the new head of the ministry will be known, according to the movement of the Holy Spirit. For now, Ms. Evelyn Joshua is responsible for coordinating the affairs of the church.
