According to FDA, this only affects the 6 oz of tomato paste without added salt cans with an expiry date of October 16, 2020.
After the canning process, the final product could have been damaged, which would create a mold hazard.
Hunt's parent company issued the press release after receiving complaints from customers. It is not said if anyone has got sick or not. If you see mold in your tomato paste, discard it or send it back where you bought it. No other Hunt products are part of the recall.
