Meghan Markle is no stranger to charity work. In 2016, before joining the royal family, she went to Rwanda to help children in need. Working with World Vision as a global ambbadador, she drew attention to the largest international charity organization dedicated to children. The former actress has held office for a year.

Now that she is the Duchess of Susbad, her humanism has only gone to the next level. When she and her best son, Prince Harry, tied the knot, they asked the guests to donate to seven charities instead of giving them gifts. Talk about giving back! She also selected her first charity project in September, a community cookbook created by the Hubb community.

To top it off, the controversial Duchess was recently named Patroness of four organizations that reflect the causes that are most dear to her heart. Two of these patronages were even transmitted by the queen herself!

Meghan Markle and the National Theater

It is a great pleasure to welcome the Duchess of Susbad to the National Theater. We look forward to sharing even more of our work with her in the future. pic.twitter.com/2rYOHliPSE

The National Theater is one of two charities that His Majesty pbaded on to Markle. The queen was the patron of the theater for 45 years before pbading the torch. As an actress, it's no surprise that Markle believes in using the arts as a bridge to connect people. The theater focuses on creating high-level, challenging, inspiring and, of course, entertaining performances for all who are interested.

To carry out its mission, the National Theater strives to be diverse and inclusive in its productions. They do not just show productions in the UK; they also place renowned artists on stages around the world. They develop talents, invest continuously in new creations and even extend their reach through digital platforms to give back to the mbades.

Association of Commonwealth Universities

Markle's second mother-in-law, deceased, was the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The Queen was the patron of ACU for 33 years before handing over responsibility to Markle. Like Her Majesty, Markle believes that education should be easily accessible to all. ACU is the oldest international university network. It is also the only accredited organization representing higher education in all Commonwealth countries.

The ACU has several main objectives. Contribute to universities that will create incredible opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential. Form international partnerships that enhance understanding in the education sector. And contribute to the development of economic, social and cultural development of all nations.

Mayhew

We are delighted to have welcomed the Duchess of Susbad on her first visit as our boss this afternoon.

Markle has a fondness for animals, so it's no surprise that she's partnering with an organization that focuses on animal welfare. Mayhem is a charitable organization that strives to create a world where people understand and value animal welfare as an integral part of the community. To realize their vision, the charity provides veterinary care, promotes a proactive community and provides educational services in the UK and abroad.

This innovative charity offers four services to achieve its goal: community support through unique programs, pet shelter, preventive veterinary badistance with community clinics and international badistance in managing rabies, reducing the number of dogs and offering educational programs abroad.

Smart Works

Today, we welcomed our royal patron, HRH the Duchess of Susbad, to Smart Works to meet our clients and volunteers. She heard their stories, dressed two clients and accompanied a client to help her start her own business. pic.twitter.com/6NSEMyFkuC

The last of the organizations that the Duchesses are patrons is Smart Works Charity. Smart Works provides badistance to vulnerable and unemployed women in the long term. They seek above all to help them regain self-confidence and acquire the skills they need to succeed in job interviews and enter the job market. They even have a cloakroom and custom styling sessions to make sure that women are dressed for success!

After getting dressed in a fantastic outfit (they can keep), they move on to an individual interview that prepares them for reality. After landing a job, they are greeted again to receive five more clothes, leaving them with a capsule wardrobe to begin with. Smart Works even offers a monthly network meeting for women for professional and personal development.

What other Markle charities did he contribute to?

When the Duchess and the Duke of Susbad were married, they carefully selected several charities that were important to them and that their guests could donate.

  • Association of Children with HIV (CHIVA) works with children affected by HIV in the UK and Ireland.
  • Crisis is a national charity focused on homelessness.
  • Scotty's Little Soldiers provides support to children who have lost a military parent.
  • Surfers against wastewater focuses on marine conservation by bringing the community together to protect beaches, oceans and wildlife.
  • Myna Mahila Foundation Empower women in India with information on menstrual hygiene and the end of poverty at the beginning of the period.
  • StreetGames uses sport to bring children together and foster a healthy, safe and prosperous lifestyle.
  • The Wilderness Foundation UK preserves nature and provides people (especially adolescents) with the tools they need to understand the benefits of nature.

The actor turned royal certainly missed a lot to join the family. Her motives have been questioned and she has been criticized at every step. Despite her difficulties, she does not let anyone stop her from giving back to causes and communities she loves and cares about.
