It's a pity that it's too late to grab this for Father's Day, as there is "daddy" written on it. The Fender Newport is a wireless speaker modeled in the clbadic Fender style, perfect for those looking for a simple alternative to the standard Bluetooth brick.

When it debuted at the end of 2017, the speaker's sold for $ 200 – and it's still pretty much everywhere. However, for a limited time and within the limit of available stocks, Music123 via eBay has the Fender Newport Portable Bluetooth Speaker for $ 99.99. Delivery is free, but delivery will take 2-4 business days – a little too late for Father's Day, alas.
The front of the speaker says it all – it sounds like a Fender amp! – but it's at the top that we really feel. You would not think that buttons and switches could be a big problem, but, see for yourself:
I did not have the pleasure to try it myself, but CNET gave a practical overview of NewportSo, I'll give you to that. Here is a takeaway:
The Fender Newport offers a lot of sound for its size, thanks to its two woofers and its tweeter. The sound is bold and balanced. This is not too serious, but you can increase it if you wish. The highs are clear, without cracks, even at full volume – which, if I may say so, is loud enough to clearly hear two pieces away.
Fender promises a battery life of about 12 hours, but unfortunately you have to use an exclusive charger and power supply; you can not simply connect a standard micro-USB charger or similar.
That said, I really like this deal. So many Bluetooth speakers are so boring. It oozes cool.
