The advancement of technology not only opens up possibilities for a greener and more sustainable future. It also gives creative minds the opportunity to express themselves on a whole new level. We’ve seen a lot of concepts when it comes to electric two-wheelers, from extremely futuristic concepts like the Husqvarna Devil S, to down-to-earth machines for everyday commuters like the Ola S1.
One concept in particular caught my attention with its creativity. The Electraply is by far one of the most unique electric bikes on the market. Its frame uses a unique design that takes inspiration from the retro style of jammers. The most striking part is that the whole frame is made of wood. The creative genius behind the Electraply is Evie Bee. Model maker by profession who was inspired by the style of scramblers and café racers, this young woman skilfully designed this electric two-wheeler from a mixture of birch and poplar.
These two hardwoods give the Electraply decent stiffness, making this e-bike a maneuverable work of art. At the top of the wooden structure is a Yose Power 36 V, 12.5 Ah battery which in turn powers an electric motor built into the front wheel. The Electraply rolls on 26-inch wheels, similar to a bicycle, and is fitted with a suspension fork. If riders want to get a decent workout while riding the Electraply, they can choose to use the integrated pedals that propel the rear wheel through a single speed setup. The Electraply stop is a set of cantilever rim brakes.

Additionally, Bee hopes to launch a fundraising campaign for Electraply on Kickstarter to bring this innovative concept to market.
