While the resignation of three members of the ruling military council triggered jubilation among the protesters, the President Omar al-Bashir's aroused their anger.
The feeling in Khartoum is that the military council has been hoping the protesters will be disappointed and go home, but so far, the demonstrators have refused to disperse.
