Three clubs that could sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona this transfer window

Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho could be prepared for a summer outing to end his Nou Camp nightmare.

After an unfortunate spell with the Catalan club, Coutinho is among those who could leave while he is considering a new opportunity.

According to Marca, the Brazilian playmaker has decided to leave, although he does not want to suffer a significant salary cut to do so.

The Spanish newspaper has designated Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City and Chelsea as the three clubs with a chance to land the former Liverpool man.

But a return to Anfield is not expected, any more than the move to Manchester United, evoked as a possibility in the January transfer window.

Three clubs vying for Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho wants to keep his salary close to 12 million pounds of annual income after tax, he would need a considerable financial weight to sign it.

PSG and Manchester City both respond with their spending power. A move to the French capital seems most likely to give a chance to join Neymar and boost their hopes in the Champions League.

But City could allow him to return to the Premier League, where he was playing for Liverpool, and the possible departure of Leroy Sane could pave the way for a talented attack from Pep Guardiola.

Coutinho scored twice for Brazil in his first Copa America match against Bolivia

Chelsea has received a significant financial boost after the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, and they are desperate to replace him with a star.

However, they will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to deal with their transfer ban.

Unless their ban is suspended or lifted as a result of their call, they will not be able to engage players and Coutinho will not be able to travel to Stamford Bridge.
