Richard Sawicki, 20, was charged with driving while intoxicated after hitting a family of nine, killing three people on Sunday.
Three members of a New Jersey family, including a four-year-old girl, were tragically killed and six others injured after being hit by an alleged drunk driver during a car trip to Niagara Falls.
Richard Sawicki, 20, was arrested for the devastating accident that occurred at 6:30 am Sunday morning when his truck struck a sport utility vehicle carrying nine pbadengers in Sheldon, NY.
The accident occurred on Highway 20A and on Maxon Road, where two women were ejected from the car in the violent crash.
Sawicki, of Lackawanna, has been charged with manslaughter, drunk driving and reckless driving for the deadly collision, according to The Daily News. His driver's license was also suspended.
He has been brought to court on bail of $ 100,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on June 20.
The sport utility vehicle was traveling west on Highway 20A when Sawicki, heading south in his van on Maxon Road, did not stop at the stop sign and crashed into the vehicle. sport utility.

The identity of the victims was not disclosed pending the notification of family members.
The Wyoming County Sheriff, Gregory Rudolph, responded to the scene after being informed of an "accident with multiple ejections and injuries".
