Three more suspects arrested for kidnapping Canadians

Three other suspects were arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police for kidnapping two Canadian women in Kumasi last week.

The new suspects are Masaud Ibrahim, Moro Issaka and Yusif Mohammed.

Police said the three men were currently in their custody and badisting in the investigations.

A report published by the police on this subject did not give details about the age and place where the suspects were arrested in the area.

This brings to 11 the number of suspects arrested for the crime and suspected to be closely related to the incident.

The first eight, consisting of five Ghanaians and three Nigerians, were arrested during a special security operation between Tuesday and Wednesday at dawn in the area where the two abducted women were rescued.
