Tema, April 12, GNA – Three younger brothers and sisters died in a house fire
epidemic in the Tema community two, late afternoon Thursday afternoon,
were resting after returning from school.

Delali Hammond, 10, Winnifred Hammond, 9, and Parisah Adewumi Hammond, 2

The children would have returned from

in front of their house when the event has occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, it took the residents
of the BBC neighborhood a lot of time and effort to put out the fire, but could
not save the children.

When the Ghana News Agency (GNA) contacted the
District 1 Community Command of the Ghana Police Service, it has
their charred bodies had been deposited at the morgue of Tema General Hospital
while investigations into the incident continued.
