A domestic fire incident at Tema Community Two cost the lives of three younger brothers and sisters, YEN.com.gh.

The three Bridget Delali Hammond, Winifred Hammond and Parisah Adewumi Hammond, respectively 10, 9 and 2 years old, suffered the tragic fate of the afternoon of Thursday, April 11, 2019.

According to a report YEN.com.gh glimpses on Ghananewsagency.org, siblings were resting after returning from school on the fateful day that was their upcoming vacation day.

Around 3.30 pm, a fire broke out in the wooden kiosk in which they were sleeping right in front of their house.

While the inhabitants were trying to put out the fire, it took them so long that by the time the fire was under control, the children were already dead.

In a video of the incident that was sighted by YEN.com.ghMany residents have been complaining that police and fire departments have not arrived to help extinguish the fire.

At the same time, Ghana's District 1 Police Command opened an investigation into the incident.
