Tiffany Haddish said she was doing science experiments on the men she was dating, to decide if she would see them again.
The actress told Stephen Colbert about The Late Show with Stephan Colbert that she uses a microscope to see various germs in the mouths of these men.
“I’ll give them something to drink,” Haddish began. “They would leave. I picked up the mug, dabbed where they were drinking, right? Put this in a Petri dish.
“Let this cooking, you know, do what it’s doing.” Then I would put it on a slide and look at it and see what was going on in their mouth.
Haddish said she specifically observed the amount of candida from the samples, which is a yeast that can lead to various infections.
“If they had too much candida,” she continued, “I never go out on another date. Don’t kiss them. Nothing.
“But if it’s a good healthy amount, you know, because we all have them – we all have bacteria – but if it’s a healthy mouth, then you know, second date.”
