Timmy Hansen becomes double winner

Timmy Hansen became the first double winner of the 2019 Rallycross World Championship season at Silverstone despite the loss of his leader in the first corner of the final against Andreas Bakkerud.

Bakkerud, RX Cartel Audi's driver, set the tone in the last two qualifying sessions on Sunday and, like Peugeot's runner, Hansen won his semifinal and started for the first line of the final.
