The President of the Union of Musicians of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, aka Obour, intends to preach the word of God after his retirement from the president of MUSIGA.
According to Obour, this is one of the main pbadions he hopes to pursue after leaving office.
My pbadion drives me to many things, "he told George Quaye in an interview with Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM Saturday about life after MUSIGA.
"I have a very strong pbadion for evangelism," but quickly downplayed suggestions that he could create his own church.
Obour, who said he was recently ordained an evangelist, revealed that he would be busy preaching the word of God in some places.
"It is possible that you see Obour preaching in certain places, in some churches; I would not like to have a ministry in prisons, but not necessarily a church. It's not really my thing, but I have a great pbadion for preaching the gospel, "he believes, according to the Bible, it's the mandate of humanity.
Obour's second four-year term as chairman of MUSIGA ends in about two months.
In October 2015, Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) was reelected at the head of MUSIGA for another four-year term.
Obour beat three other candidates, Gyedu Blay Ambolley and Appiah Dankwah (Appietus) at a MUSIGA congress in Koforidua, in the eastern region.
The musicians' body has set June 26th of this year as the date on which members will elect a new president.
Obour told George Quaye that he wanted to take a leave after leaving office. In addition to preaching the word of God, he is also pbadionate about teaching and hopes to enroll himself to learn writing so he can teach.
He also hinted that he still had a little love for politics. "I also have a lot of pbadion for politics" and think that he can use the policy to bring about a change in society.
Obures reigns soon as the president of MUSIGA and many industry players hope to replace him.
