I am beginning to think that spring is my favorite season of the year. The sun is warming, but the gentle breeze keeps the temperature ideal.
So why not take our physical form on the outside? The mixture of fresh air and exercise is hard to refuse.
Our move today is to jump the slots. This exercise will work the lower body with the slit but also improve our cardio at the same time.
Begin this movement by standing up, holding your chest high, placing your arms in front of your chest and engaging your heart.
With a little jump, lay one leg back and the other slightly in front of your body. Aim for a lunge movement, bending the front knee and lowering the knee to the ground. As soon as you reach your lowest point, get up and change your leg, to immediately start moving.
Continue alternating these slots for the desired duration or a certain amount on each leg. If your balance is compromised, you do not need to jump as much. If you need more resistance, hold a weight in each hand, tucked into your chest and torso.
This movement is excellent alone, used as a warm up or even in a lower body workout. This will definitely be an badet when you decide to combine your fitness with fresh air.
