Former Manchester City striker, Nolito, hinted that he might be forced to leave Sevilla this summer, leaving the contenders Tottenham hope for a potential deal.
The Spanish winger joined the Andalusian club in the summer of 2017 after two seasons spent in Manchester City, with homesickness being cited as the main reason for his return to La Liga.
However, his time in Sevilla did not work out as expected with the 32-year-old, limited by a serious ankle injury this season, limiting the player to just three league appearances this season.
The experienced star should not return to the game until next month, according to the Spanish press Nolito could be eliminated at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, especially since he will still have a year of contract and the club hates to lose him for free.
Despite his difficulties adapting to the English way of life, the player was mentioned as a potential target for Tottenham Chief Mauricio Pochettino.
And the player hinted that he would be forced to consider moving elsewhere this summer saying, "If they do not see me in their future plans, I'll move on to something else."
Sevilla recently dismissed his manager, Pablo Machin, while Joaquin Caparros acted as interim caretaker until the end of the season, when a decision will be made about the manager. Sports director Monchi, recently re-elected, will probably have his say and Nolito wants to sit down and debate as soon as possible with the club.
"I would like to talk to the new coach," he added.
"This year did not happen as I would have liked, it was the most difficult of my career on a personal level.
"But I want to keep playing here, I want to show what I can do when I'm fit.
"I have one more year of contract and I want to stay in Seville."
