Tottenham has taken a big step forward in the opening of its new White Hart Lane stadium.

They opened the doors of the new venue on Sunday night to welcome about 1,000 people to the East stand to watch the Super Bowl live for an NFL event.

This was not considered a test event and they still have to organize two events before getting the go-ahead, but that's still a big step in the right direction.

Tottenham has not yet confirmed the official date of the first match in his new stadium but hopes to hold the Crystal Palace match next month.

The stadium, which will host 62,000 spectators and cost more than £ 750 million, is widely regarded as one of the best in Europe but has experienced delays.

The stadium is almost ready

Tottenham was hoping to move in at the start of the season, but delays were postponed several times and delays led to an extended stay at Wembley.

But they seem to be going in the right direction now and hope to be able to set the stage for the race of the season.

The confrontation with Palace will take place on March 17th. The Spurs will play four more Premier League home games before the end of the season.
