The outside players got a free kick after a video criticism on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final
The list of controversies over value-added resellers continues to grow, and the Champions League match between Tottenham and Manchester City last Tuesday.
The first leg in the quarter-finals was scoreless in the 12th minute when Danny Rose blocked Raheem Sterling's shot.
The ball hitting Rose's slightly raised arm, referee Bjorn Kuipers came forward in front of the monitor to take a second look and finally awarded a penalty to City.
Publisher's choice
The decision was highly controversial because Rose seemed to have her arm pressed against her body, but Hugo Lloris would then ensure that his team did not fall to an early deficit.

The Spurs goalkeeper blocked Sergio Aguero's subsequent punishment, which allowed the match to go scoreless.
Despite the backup, there were still a lot of complaints about what appeared to be a hard call.
The songs of "VAR, VAR" will be heard frequently during the matches, the fans calling for action during the perceived incident. Already heard loud here.

Really not sold on how VAR is implemented. The use of technology is a good thing, but a system that makes a decision like this retrospectively has something really shocking – a player barely visible on the field or multiple players (if any) have actually appealed.

We have the best referee in the world here. He did not see a penalty …
VAR did. Some guys in suits in a bus outside the stadium responsible for VAR have seenJust say

VAR was supposed to make that easier, but we are more divided and still disagree on what is and is not an offense / sanction / anything.

There is going to be a lot of VAR penalties for handball from now on.

VAR will piss everyone next season and I can not wait

Yet another example of how VAR is horribly inconsistent. On Saturday, an identical incident with Alex Sandro against Milan was not given. Today, the penalty is given against Danny Rose. No matter what it 's like a penalty, the inconsistency with VAR is terrible this season. #TOTMCI

This is the use of shambolic of #VAR.

Not what VAR should be used for. Never a clear and obvious mistake. Justice done … in my opinion,

This is not what VAR was sold, even to those who were heavily on board. This does not eliminate serious arbitration errors nor reduces controversies. It is simply a matter of moving from the stadium to the stadium.

Games gone, never be the same #VAR #TOTMCI
