On November 26, 2008, a wave of devastating terrorist attacks throughout Mumbai catapulted the Indian metropolis into chaos.

In the heart of the city's tourist district, jihadist terrorists besieged the famed Taj Palace hotel, whose guests and staff were trapped in a heroic battle for survival.

Now the stories of the survivors have inspired the debut of director Anthony Maras.

The film is based on the 2009 documentary Surviving Mumbai.

The terrorist attack in Mumbai consisted of 12 coordinated four-day shootings and bombings.

At least 174 people died, including nine attackers, and more than 300 people were injured.




Film stars Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Jason Isaacs, Nazanin Boniadi and Anupam Kher Star will air on Sky Cinema and NOWTV.

The Mumbai Hotel is published in the UK on Sky Cinema and NOW TV from May 3, 2019.
