Although the ability to set a user screen background under iOS 4 is a welcome addition to the operating system, the default screen background choices can be pretty, well, screaming. Some are too busy, the contrast is too high, too coarse.
The above wallpaper, called Tranquil, is Jason Kottke's brilliant information about the questionable taste used by Apple when selecting the default wallpapers for iOS 4.
Just tap the image until the "Save Image" dialog box appears to apply it as the background of your iPhone screen.
