Transfer from Antoine Griezmann: Manchester United in search of a £ 107 million contract

Manchester United could make a £ 107 million jump for Antoine Griezmamn, Barcelona's target this summer.

The winner of the World Cup in France, Griezmann, has long been linked to his move to United. He is traveling this summer after announcing that he was leaving Atletico Madrid.

It is believed that United is actively seeking to recruit Griezmann, in a bold move that would make him the signature of his club's record.

Barca had to respect the £ 107m Griezmamn release clause, but doubts from Camp Nou's hierarchy about the long-term value of the 28-year-old's signature opened the door for United.

While United has virtually lost all hope of signing Borussia Dortmund and English forward Jason Sancho, playmaker Griezmann has proved to be the ideal alternative.

Although United is not able to offer football in the Champions League next season, after his sixth place in the Champions League, Griezmann could be tempted by the prospect of being the playmaker around which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rebuilds his team in the new look.

Signing Griezmann, who is a close friend of Paul Pogba, the £ 89m record holder, could give the Reds a boost in their attempts to keep their midfielder against Real Madrid's serious interest this summer.

Griezmann's growing hero was former US midfielder David Beckham, and the Reds could attract him to Old Trafford with the promise of his idol's iconic shirt No. 7 , that Alexis Sanchez would release on leaving this summer.

Griezmann scored 21 goals for Atleti in 48 games during the 2018-19 campaign.
