Transfer news: Allan has abandoned but Napoli will not grant the transfer of the PSG to 100 million euros

Allan was out for the Serie A match against AC Milan on Saturday, but head coach Carlo Ancelotti insists the midfielder will not be sold at Paris Saint-Germain.

It was reported Thursday in Italy that the Ligue 1 champions, PSG, were about to finalize a contract for Allan that could be worth more than 100 million euros (£ 87m / $ 114m).

Ancelotti has decided to leave the 28-year-old out of his group for the trip to San Siro because of speculation about his future in recent days.

However, he maintains that Napoli has no desire to sell Allan at this stage of the season.

"Allan is not in the team for tomorrow," he said at a press conference on Friday. "He's had a tough week and he does not have a lot of training.

"We keep him here to train and for the match on Tuesday [against Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-final].

"The only thing I know, is that he stays, thankfully, nothing more – he's an important player for us and will be more and more so this season."

"With Allan, we have always been very clear, there is no need to sell it, PSG wanted it, but there are conditions and negotiations.

"The club would have accepted the player's wish to move if conditions were met, but the player is aware [this is not the case] and we will not have any problem. "

Ancelotti however confirmed Napoli's interest in Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals, who would have a € 25m (£ 22m) release clause and reiterated his admiration for the PSV striker. Hirving Lozano.

"The club is very attentive to what is happening in international football," he said.

"Fornals is one of the players we follow with interest, Lozano is part of this list of players, and he is an excellent forward."
