Treasury yields are down as investors wait for data and auctions

At approximately 0210 (ET), the 10-year Treasury price, which moves in the opposite direction of the price, was less than approximately 2.5776%, while that of 30-year Treasury bonds was also less than 2.9824%.

As for the data, the latest Philadelphia Fed survey of non-manufacturing firms and FHFA's February home price index will be released at the beginning of the transactions. New home sales for March and the Richmond Fed survey for April will be released around 10:00 am ET.

The US Federal Reserve will hold a public meeting on Tuesday to consider a proposal that would simplify and increase the transparency of its rules for determining the control of a banking institution.

Meanwhile, White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow is expected to comment on the US economy and recent market volatility at an event organized by the National Press Club.

The US Treasury is expected to auction $ 26 billion in 52-week notes and $ 40 billion in two-year notes on Tuesday.
