Trump 's long – time ally and former campaign adviser, Roger Stone, was arrested in Florida and charged with seven counts as part of the Mueller investigation.
Mr. Stone will appear in court later in Fort Lauderdale.
The indictment includes a charge of obstructing an official proceeding, five counts of false statement and a witness tampering.
