Donald Trump appeared at a rally right in front of a false presidential seal, falsified to make seemingly satirical references to Russia and golf.
The slightly modified picture was posted on a screen behind the president while he was speaking at a summit organized by the conservative group Turning Point USA in Washington earlier this week.
The bald eagle, usually lonely, was seen with two heads, made to look like the bird on Russia's official coat of arms, in mockery of Mr. Trump's misfortunes when he investigated the electoral interference of Moscow.

The symbolic bird also showed up holding a bag of golf clubs – a joke about the president's penchant for spending so much time on links.
The White House and Turning Point USA both said they did not know why or how the altered image appeared on the screen.
A spokesman for Turning Point USA said The Washington Post it was a last minute A / V error "after the diary first highlighted the tampered seal.
"I do not know who did it yet. I do not know where they got the picture, "he added, explaining that their organization was still trying to determine who was responsible and where the image came from.
Richard Painter, White House ethics attorney in the George W. Bush administration, told the Post: "Let someone project something on a screen that is not controlled by the White House is pretty stupid. "
He added: "Someone's going to get in trouble, but they laughed at it."
Mr. Painter explained that the First Amendment's freedom of speech allowed people to parody the official presidential seal.
Kathleen Clark, a law professor at the University of Washington, said, "Does anyone trolling Trump at Turning Point? I just think that Putin would probably agree. "
