A dramatic video posted online showed the tsunami that hit Indonesia by turning into an outdoor concert, sending members of a pop band out of the scene and hitting the audience.
Riefian Fajarsyah, the lead singer of the band "Seventeen" later posted a touching video to his 260,000 Instagram subscribers, in which he said the band's bbadist and road manager had been killed.
The group was playing Saturday night in front of a large crowd under a tent at Tanjung Lesung Beach Resort, at the west end of Java, when the wall of water fell.
On the video, we can see fans cheering and applauding before a wave breaks under the stage, sending the band members and their equipment crashing into the men and women dancing at the front.
The shocking video then stops suddenly.
Fajarsyah said that two other members of the group, a member of the team and his wife, were still missing.
"We lost our bbadist Bani and our director of the road Oki," he said in the video, in which he wears a green shirt with the Seventeen logo of the group sewn on the chest.
