UFC boss Dana White immediately signs with Aalon Cruz after a spectacular KO flying knee

UFC President, Dana White, has not wasted time in handing over a contract to his featherweight, Aalon Cruz, as a result of his spectacular shutdown on the latest contender series card.

While there was only 30 seconds left in what was a back-and-forth affair with Steven Nguyen, Cruz connected to a perfectly executed flying knee that made his opponent sleep before he hit the canvas.

The acrobatic movement left everyone in the arena stunned, including White who immediately made a gesture of signature with his hands as the cameras headed for his seat at the edge of the cage.

The Contender Series by Dana White offers mixed martial artists an opportunity to break into the UFC. Cruz's contract was formalized at the end of the card, along with three other fighters.

"It's exactly what I'm looking for.No secret: I've already shown my hand earlier with him.It's in," said White. ESPN.

It was one of two finals at the flying knees of the night. A heavyweight, slightly heavyweight, landed a spot in the UFC lineup with his KO in the second round of Fabio Cherant.

The UFC has also recruited heavyweight women Tracy Cortez and heavyweight Rodrigo Nascimento.
