Ugandan opposition politician Bobi Wine told Al Jazeera that he was ready to sit down with President Yoweri Museveni to discuss the challenges the country was facing.
The popular musician turned politician was released after three days of detention for taking part in what the authorities described as "illegal demonstrations" against a tax on social networks.
Bobi Wine has the support of young Ugandans, many of whom are poor, frustrated and find it hard to find a job.
