Ho, July 14, GNA – University of Health
and Allied Sciences (UHAS) was ranked 12th best university in Ghana by
Webometrics, Professor John Gyapong, Vice Chancellor of the University
disclosed Saturday.
He said that the ranking, achieved by the Ranking Web
universities around the world, from 27 to 2016/2017, from 14 to 2017/18 to 12,
meant that the new university was doing something good.
The Vice Chancellor said that at the fourth
congregation of the University where a total of 803, including three foreign
the students were graduates.
He said that the University welcomed the ranking
and remained focused on being among the top five universities in Ghana by
2022.
The Vice Chancellor said that the university was
gradually attract specialists and consultants following the conversion of
Volta Regional Hospital University Hospital, repositioning the
University as the best place for training health professionals.
