LONDON (Reuters) – Britain's developer of commercial real estate Helical has received an offer of about 500 million pounds ($ 637 million) from an unidentified US private equity group. the Sunday Times newspaper announced, without citing sources.
According to the newspaper, this approach valued Helical with a significant premium over the current price of its 355p stock and its market capitalization of 425 million pounds, but at a price below its net badet value of 567 million pounds.
Helical and its outgoing president and main shareholder, Mike Slade, declined to comment, the newspaper added.
