Ulrika Jonsson reveals why even the council could not save her third marriage

Ulrika Jonsson became the darling of Saturday night television despite her humble beginnings as a secretary, but her love life has always been in the news more than any other professional job.

And today, she reveals that her third marriage, Brian Monet, is about to end after 11 years.

Ulrika began her on-screen career as a meteorologist before becoming captain of the Shooting Stars team and presenting Gladiators, one of the biggest television shows.

In her romances, she had one with Prince Edward in the 1980s, which she described as "little slap and tickle."

There were rumors of an appointment with her Shooting Stars sidekick, Vic Reeves, and she denied having a secret outing with Gladiator Hunter, James Crossley. She then admitted in her 2003 autobiography, Honest, that she was it.

When Ulrika married Brian, at the age of 40, she stepped out of the scene, calling it "self-imposed exile". It seemed that she had finally settled down.

She explains, "I felt that my children needed me more as they grew up.

But it was not just the TV she had fallen in love with.

Ulrika admitted that even marriage counseling could not save the relationship with US advertising director Brian, 50, the father of his fourth child, Malcolm, 11.

She says, "You can only solve problems with another person. If I'm honest, getting another divorce at 51 is not what I thought I was, so who knows? I just do not know what will be the shape of my future. I can not consider going out again. Once again, I said I would never marry again before, and I did it. "

After meeting in Sweden two years earlier, the two men were married at a private ceremony in 2008 in London. She was pregnant with Malcolm. They then renewed their vows in Barbados in 2012 and said that Brian was "more than my husband".

At the time, Ulrika cried out: "It's a brilliant and brilliant-looking father who has the same parenting values ​​as me. His patience is boundless, his love for our children is unconditional and their love for him complements our family. "

Two years later, Brian adopted his eldest daughter, Bo, 18, whose biological father is the German boss of the Markus Kempen hotel. Ulrika dated him in 2000.

She discovered that during pregnancy, her baby was suffering from a conbad heart defect and needed significant surgery at birth. But a few days after Bo's birth, Markus announced that he was leaving the UK to find work abroad – Ulrika had not even taken his child home.

Brian then helped her raise Bo, who owes her name to Ulrika's father.

She had her first child, Cameron, 24, during her five-year marriage with cameraman John Turnbull and Martha, 14, with her second husband, Lance Gerrard-Wright.

Having four children with four different men has earned Ulrika the cruel nickname 4×4. She tells Best Magazine: "OK, I'm biologically a 4×4. But many men father children and then disappear, and they are treated like adorable, but eccentric goats.

In hindsight, she says, "I was unfaithful to John. It is absolutely not a defense and knowing that it was painful, I would never do it again. I look at youngest self and selfishness. I did not even think about the consequences, it comes with maturity. It was wrong and I do not defend it, but I was so young when I first got married … too young, I was only 23 years old. And there were many more tumultuous relationships to come.

Ulrika began dating footballer Stan Collymore, but they separated in 1998 after badaulting him in a Parisian bar. Collymore is excused, accusing her of violence and "petulance, jealousy and perhaps too much to drink".

Ulrika again made headlines in 2002 when she had an affair with Sweden's Swedish manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.

When her autobiography was published, a revelation that a TV presenter had raped her in 1998 while she was a 19-year-old weather girl on television, caused a media storm. She said, "I felt a little silly." Matthew Wright accidentally named Blue Peter star John Leslie as the alleged rapist on his TV show The Wright Stuff. Ulrika did not make any public comment. Leslie denied the allegation and was never arrested.

However, his television career was in shambles. In 2002, during the television series meeting with Mr. Right, Mr. Right, Ulrika met Lance, an unmarried girl faced with choosing a girlfriend from a group of women. They knotted the knot the following year.

When the couple separated in 2005, she said, "If I say one day that I will remarry, do you want to shoot me?
