Unai Emery reveals what Arsenal needs to learn from the new Premier League season

Unai Emery warned Arsenal must learn from the painful experience of failure last season.

They lost a spot in the top four after winning in their last five games and also lost their Champions League pbadport after losing the Europa League final.

Gunner boss Emery stresses that the injuries have cost them dearly, but also says the team needs to learn how to better handle the pressure next season.

Emery said, "We played very well last year at times.

"We know that when we lost our chance to be in the top four in December and January, we lost a lot of players to injuries such as Rob Holding and Hector Berllerin.

"Then, when we were about to reach our goals in the last few games, we lost points for Crystal Palace and Brighton.

"But at that time, too, we were very determined to win the Europa League.

"Maybe with this experience, we have to manage the moments better, hopefully, as players progress in their minds."

Arsenal will face Fiorentina in the International Champions Cup in Charlotte before ending the American tour against Real Madrid in Washington on Tuesday.
