Unai Emery suffers in the race to sign his ideal replacement for Denis Suarez

Christopher Nkunku, the target of the Arsenal transfers, wishes a summer transfer to Rennes and is preparing to snobber Unai Emery.

It is unlikely that the former coach of Seville hires Denis Suarez definitively after his loan transfer from Barcelona in January.

Suarez has been limited to six substitute matches. Emery has doubts about his compatriot's ability to resist the physical nature of English football.

Arsenal has the option to sign Suarez on the spot for £ 18 million when the transfer window is reopened this summer, but Emery has already recommended a list of alternatives, including Chief Nkunku.

The Gunners attempted to sign the 21-year-old actor in January, but were not able to conclude a loan agreement for the purchase of a contract with the champions of League 1.

Emery made his professional debut at Nkunku at PSG, but the versatile winger struggled to get started under Thomas Tuchel.

West-France, however, says the player is about to join Rennes, as Nkunku's agents have had positive talks with club director Olivier Letang.

Nkunku, who has played 19 Ligue 1 games this season and scored three goals, has signed a contract that will expire in just over a year.
