A group of mothers in Accra bitterly complained about the Kempinski Hotel's Easter egg hunt program, which promised the kids a lot of fun, but the mothers claim they gave nothing.
During Easter, the Kempinski Hotel has announced an event "Easter Egg Hunt" for children. He promised them various fun activities for the children at a cost of 100 GED per child, but according to the mothers, nothing was delivered,
In a long post on Facebook and Instagram, mothers said that the Kempinski hotel, after charging 100 g for each child, not only refused to provide promised services, but also served expired chocolates, cupcakes dry and mini-burgers to kids getting sick ..
A parent wrote:
"Not a single game has been organized for kids! We were still required to pay even though the Kempinski Gold Coast City hotel, Accra Ghana, did not honor its market share! What an absolute disaster !!!! And give the children EXPIRED chocolates! It's a new minimum … "
Another complains:
"… The cupcakes were not great … and not decorated … Maybe the kids would decorate these cupcakes as an activity ?! They certainly did not have the decorating activity of cupcakes as advertised, but that was what my daughter was looking forward to …
Sources at the Kempinski Hotel, however, denied the charges, saying not only that the party had taken place, but they had also fully respected their part of the contract. They post images of the event on their social media pages where children could be seen engaged in all the activities promised in the event flyer.
In an official statement, the hotel said:
"The Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast Accra acknowledges receipt of a complaint at our" Easter Egg Hunt "event. Management is currently studying the problem. We want to badure our customers that we strive to meet the highest standards and that we follow strict guidelines for the purchase of goods and services by our suppliers. "
