The manufacturing sector has had a gloomy start to the year in 2019,
trends in production and new orders have slowed and that
fell for the second time only in the previous two and a half years.
The companies indicated that preparations for Brexit had led to
increase in purchasing activity and storage of inputs to
warehouses.
