The Ghana Energy Distribution Service (PDS) said that the unstable feed of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) was causing occasional power cuts in the south of the country.
Their explanation follows the breakdowns that occurred in parts of the capital on Thursday morning.
In a statement issued after the blackout, PDS said, "Customers should note that as soon as GRIDCo corrects the situation, power will be restored in the affected areas.
