CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) – The number of confirmed cases of measles in Clark County has climbed to 25 Thursday, and 12 more cases are suspected, according to Clark County Public Health.
The two new confirmed cases were monitored by health officials. These people stayed home during the process, which prevented further exposure of the public.
Since January 1st, there have been 19 cases of measles in children 10 years old and younger. There are five cases aged 11 to 18 years and one case involving an adult aged 29 or younger.
Health officials said 21 confirmed cases had not been vaccinated against measles. The other four cases have unverified immunization status.
In Clark County, the Ministry of Public Health continues to maintain a list of possible public exposure sites, including twice Portland International Airport, schools, health care facilities, businesses and the Moda center for a January 11th Blazers game.
The complete list can be found here.
