The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Reverend Owusu Bempah stormed Radio XYZ offices in Accra on Friday with gunmen threatening to kill one of station presenters, Mugabe Maase.
Relating on what happened, the main producer of the Kofi Oppong Asamoah station told Joy News that around 10 o'clock Friday, when their flagship programs were broadcast, the receptionist had communicated with the man of God .
"He came with armed bodyguards and came to ask Mugabe Maase, who runs a political program in the afternoon.
"We asked him why he was asking Mr. Maase to which he replied that the radio presenter did derogatory comments on him on radio Thursday, he said.

According to him, Reverend Bempah said that the presenter had threatened to send him out of the country and that he was standing up for this action to be taken.
"He insisted that he was going to end Mugabe Maase's life because he could not keep talking about his lie," said Asamoah.
The perplexed guests kept asking Reverend Bempah what authority he had to threaten to ensure that the station was closed.
Their questions wreaked havoc on the premises, while Reverend Bempah's well-built bodyguards struggled to mistreat the guests.
"Although one of the bodyguards tried to mistreat someone, he was restrained by other people. No one was injured and no property was vandalized, "said Mr. Asamoah.
The management of Radio XYZ at filed suit with the East Legon police.
In a statement, Radio XYZ asked the security agencies to act to ensure the safety of Mugabe Maase and the station as a whole.
"We condemn unreservedly the despicable act of the prophet Owusu Bempah and are convinced that the security agencies will deal with the matter quickly," the management said.

Meanwhile, Kofi Adams, former national organizer of the NDC, also went to the CID headquarters to file a complaint, Reverend Isaac Bempah.
According to him, the pastor was recorded on a videotape accusing former President John Mahama and other people of having planned to kill President Akufo-Addo and his deputy Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
