A new jailbreak tweak that has just hit Cydia allows users to upload photos to Facebook directly from the photo library on their iOS device without having to use a dedicated application. Native FB Download Allows you to select your photo and send it to Facebook as easily as possible at MobileMe.
While the App Store is full of Facebook applications allowing you to upload photos, this $ 1.99 adjustment from Tyler Nettleton (@InfectionX) cuts the middle man. Once installed, you can select a photo in your camera or other photo album and press the 'Export' button on the bottom left that you would usually use to send a picture by MMS, email or MobileMe. You will have a new option to download on Facebook.
The selection of the Facebook option allows you to add a caption to your image and share it instantly with your friends – no application required.
At the moment Native FB Download will only send one picture at a time. ModMyi its developer said that a future update would introduce the ability to upload multiple images, in addition to improving speed.
Watch the video below. it looks like a great little tweak!
