The suspect, Danie Kankam
A Ghanaian based in the United States, Daniel Kankam, was arrested by Alexandria police in Virginia for the alleged murder of a Somaya Hussein Ahmed.
According to a report by Fox5dc.com, the 44-year-old suspect was arrested last weekend after police responded to a call around midnight last Friday, when the body of the victim was found.

Kankam has since been charged with murder.
According to the report, the suspect and the victim knew each other, but the police have not yet established the relationship that united them.
