US President Donald Trump has given Mexico "one year's notice" for him to use more to stop the flow of drugs and people into the United States .
He continues his threat of closing the border between Mexico and the United States.
This adds to the uncertainty felt by companies dependent on cross-border trade.
Mexico is the third largest trading partner of the United States. A few days after the border closed, this would result in significant losses for the US auto industry and higher prices in American grocery stores.
