The US Congress delegation met with Dr. Thomas O Mensah, founder of Silicon Valley of Ghana and a member of the National Academy of Inventors of the United States.
The inventor and global nanotechnology expert welcomed the delegation's membership of some of the most powerful committees of the US Congress, namely credit, defense, infrastructure, energy, budget, means of communication and internal security. He is pleased that the President of the Assembly, the third in line of the US presidency, is collaborating with Ghana's ambbadador to the United States, His Excellency HE Ambbadador Agyei Bawuah of the United States, His Excellency Stephanie Mills , led this delegation to visit Ghana during the year of return.
Dr. Mensah has photos of President Nancy Pelosi and some members of the delegation and other dignitaries such as Sec Colin Powell, Sec Condi Rice, etc., in his book The Right Stuff Comes In Black Too launched this year by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace. .
Dr. Mensah has worked with the Black Congressional Caucus for more than 10 years on STEM educational projects, including technology transfer at South Carolina State University, James Clyburn's Alma Matter, Democratic Party bad to the majority.

Dr. Mensah also inspired 3000 SHS students and their teachers at Phillips Arena Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, in the district representatives John Lewis and Hank Johnson. The two visited his office on Peachtree Street several times.
James Clyburn is a founding member of the group responsible for developing the African-American International Museum in Charleston, South Carolina. The draft template for Dr. Mensah's cruise ship from Ghana will land in Charleston, where 50% of the slaves landed in America. This cruise ship project mentioned during his speech at Panafest Accra will help promote tourism in Ghana.
Following the delegation's visit to the Elmina and Cape Coast Castles, the Congress President will address Wednesday to the Parliament of Ghana before traveling to the African Command in Italy.
According to Dr. Thomas Mensah, the delegation will be a key partner in helping Ghana modernize and industrialize.
