US STOCKS SNAPSHOT – Nasdaq futures surge, S&P 500 stable after weak jobs data

September 3 (Reuters) – Futures following the tech-rich Nasdaq 100 rose in choppy trading on Friday, while S&P 500 futures were flat after data showed growth in the US employment in August far exceeded estimates.

As of 8:36 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis were up 22 points, or 0.06%, S&P 500 e-minis were up 7.75 points, or 0.17%, and e-minis Nasdaq 100 were up 44.25 points, or 0.28%. (Reporting by Sruthi Shankar in Bangalore; Editing by Arun Koyyur)
