United States Men’s National Team goaltender Ethan Horvath has signed with Nottingham Forest, the club ad Tuesday.
Horvath, 26, has spent the last five seasons at Club Brugge in the Belgian first division. He started 28 league games in 2018-19, but only three in the past two seasons combined.
Horvath has made seven appearances for the US senior team. Most notably, he came into play in the CONCACAF Nations League final against Mexico in June, saving a penalty near the end of extra time in a 3-2 victory for the United States.
Nottingham Forest participates in the EFL Championship, the second division in England. They finished 17th in 2020-21.
