Orange County, Florida (FOX 35 WOFL) – Four inmates from Orange County Jail tested positive for hepatitis A.
Prison officials are now working to vaccinate the 2,600 detainees. According to the Orlando SentinelOfficials follow all the procedures set out by the Ministry of Health.
They say that one of the four HIV-positive prisoners has been released.
The hepatitis A virus is very contagious. Symptoms include stomach pain, fever, diarrhea, yellowing of the skin, vomiting, fatigue, and so on.
